Our Services

Custom MILLING(Not Currently Offering this service)

We offer custom milling to meet the needs of whatever project you have undertaken.  Whether it be that you have a pile of logs that you need a specific size produced or need us to create the perfect piece of lumber for your project we will mill it to what you need exactly.

Portable Milling(not currenTly offering this service)

The mill is 100% portable so we can come to you with the operation and save you time and money in transporting logs to the bigger mills.  We have the capability to mill logs 27" wide and 17' long

Tree removal

We offer safe and quality removal of trees weather in easy to get to or hard to access residential environments. We also can remove damaged or hazardous trees that would typically require bucket trucks or cranes without the use of those expensive pieces of equipment.

Tree Dropping

Here at Smith Family Sawmill and Tree Works we like to offer our customers a more affordable method of getting trees taken down.  Most tree services are looking to completely remove trees and therefore charge a lot to simply drop the tree in hopes that you will pay the extra to have the tree cleaned up.  We would love to be able to take down your tree for a fraction of the cost if you have the time and means to take care of the cleanup.  Due to our focus on milling we do not have the ability to do full removals (with cleanup) or stump removal.

Tree Pruning

Do you have an apple tree that is getting out of hand or an Oak tree that is looking pretty full of deadwood and low hanging branches?  We can take care of that for you.  With 6 years experience, AJ can tell you exactly what your tree needs and what will be healthiest for the tree.  We will never do anything to a tree that is overly harmful or hazardous even if its what all your friends are telling you needs done (Example. Tree topping).

If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth, and if a tree falls to the south or the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.
